Is there a way to disable the power windows on a 1987 Wolfsburg Vanagon? According to my manual, there is a fuse called 'automatic fuse for window lifter'. Would removing this do it? I looked at my extra fuses and they are labelled 45, 53, 18, 19, 72, 21. No mention in the manual about which is which? Neither of my windows work and I don't want a repair shot operating them (which they always seem to do). This happened to me once and it took hours to get the window up again. If anyone knows how to fix power windows or convert them to manual lifts, let me know. Thanks. -David (1987 Wolfsburg) |
