Page 3 of the Dometic Manual, under b/ 12 Volts d.c.:

"In order to improve the cooling performance under difficult built-in situation and high ambient termperatures a 0.6 W ventilator is switched on automatically when the temperature around the condensor fins is about 126 degrees F and switched off at 106 degrees F. The ventilator is connected to the 12V system."
