I haven't tried it but don't see how it would make much of a difference. With a white top and dark tint, my campers interior temperatures were between 130-140F when parked in paved unshaded lots during the daytime. It would be 10-15F less if I parked on grass but still in the sunshine. Parking in shade would get the interior temperature closer to ambient but event that doesn't help with the humidity. It still takes a while to get the interior a comfortable temperature using the A/C. I just recharged my A/C this week and the first test of the season will be driving today home from Biloxi in the afternoon heat. The van is in a parking garage in the shade so hopefully it won't take too long to cool it off. Honk and wave if you see me west-bound on I-10 between Biloxi and I-310 in New Orleans.later today. Hi all, What is the general consensus for those of us who live and work in the hot areas of the country on painting the top of the vanagon with a reflective white paint to keep the inside a little cooler? Has anyone done this successfully and if so what material was used? Thank you! Kevin
