  I have that industrial rubber backed carpet in my van.  That stuff you
see used as runners in banks, post offices, commercial bldgs., etc...  It's
not the greatest-looking stuff but when it get's stained or dirty it is
easy and inexpensive to change or to haul out on the driveway and scrub
down soap and water.  With my usage, a nice floor would soon be
trashed...Dogs, tools, all kinds of nasty stuff gets hauled in my tin top
westie interior van...That carpet doesn't get scratched up and it does help
keep stuff from sliding around when underway...It might make it a little
quieter in the van also and it feels warmer on the feet on cold
mornings....unless it's wet....grin.
