Hi listers,

On Friday I expect to show up at Vanagain to pick up my 85 Westfalia. I will have one chance to pick up items I might need for our first long trip home. I know I can order things later but my question is what parts would you be sure to have when heading out on a trip?I specifically mean auto parts not other things like tools and such. I'm 15 years out of practice so would be glad for tips.

The van is likely to have some of these things on board. For example I'm told the Bentley manual and other manuals are present. Your tips would be greatly appreciated.

My thoughts included

a set of fuses, a spare set of bulbs a replacement headlight as space is limited what would you add to this vanagon travel parts must have list?
