Has anyone changed a front heater core on a '91 two wheel drive camper van? Is there any significant anomalies to the procedure (for the late model Vans) compared to the one posted on Ben's Place website and the Youtube video posted by "uprightbaseghost"? I have the new core and fan unit ready to go and have been trying to work up the courage to tear the dash apart without having the shelter of a closed in garage to work in. …Almost there. I see the recommendation to replace the ignition switch but that doesn't seem like such a daunting task for a later date. So far I don't have a replacement part in hand and may not by the time I proceed with the dash job. As for the front heater valve; Is this a necessary change too in a '91 or can I expect that it will still have years of life left in it?
