Thanks Neil. It doesn't idle perfectly, sometimes has a slight hiccup, or speed variation. The closest i can come to describing it is...

you know the sound of a woman (not a man) wearing high heels, walking along a marble or concrete floor? A regular rhythm except every so often there is a quick double click. Sort of a "catch up (positively Proustian ).

Anyhoo, the idle is not rock steady. The throttle body shaft/butterfly is worn and that can't be helping things (I re-bushed a spare, need to dig that out and make a butterfly plate for it).
