Having a diesel engine, I will occasionally use LubroMoly diesel purge if I think the injectors and/or pump need a spanking. This is not for running through the tank, you pipe it directly into and out of the injection pump where it circulates in place of the gas tank until its all burned up. You can pour any left into the gas tank. It works well.

For the oil side, I use engine flush 10 minutes before an oil change.

Both of these LubroMoly products work very well.
