Subject: Hitch Question
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

I bought a Vanagon hitch on Ebay. It mounts to the tow hooks. The only way I seem to be able to get it mounted is the the bar under the tow hooks (rather than sigtting on top of them) and then bolting though the retainer bits (3 inch long bars) through the tow hooks and then through the bar followed by nut and lock washer. Is this the correct way to mount these? its made fy Rigid.

Jim 85 Westy.
