The mods cannot change anyone's settings. Currently, only List Admin can do that because our access to the list server has not been established. It's my understanding only TomC can do that. He's been busy with life away from Vanagon List business. Although his presence is still required to kick Gerry when it gets stuck.:-)

The member in question is John Wallace. As far as I know, he's still out there -- in other forums.
