I have a Japanese-made analog meter I bought in 1972. It still works
beautifully. A year ago I had to replace the original battery in it. Not
a speck of corrosion. Put in a Duracell.I should hope it would last so
long. But - even thought it's good - I think I'm going to get one of the
HF units this week. Both types have their uses.
