RE: Russian Sub Interesting pictures, thanks Dave. I went all the way through the Russian sub that was in Seattle for a few years (now in Portland, Or.?) with a close friend that had been a career Naval officer and sub qualified. We were both amazed by how crude the engineering and finish was throughout. BTW, if you think that living in a Westy is crowded and tight visit the U-505 (German WW2 sub) in Chicago. Or even a US WW2 sub like the one on display in San Francisco. |
