The tongue hitch I modified bolts between the bumper brackets up near where they emerge from the body. I've never trusted those tow loop hitches. On a tangential topic, both the tow loops on my Bluestar have been cut and re-welded at some point by the PO, but I can't for the life of me figure out why. Has anyone else seen this before? I'm wondering if it had one of those tow loop hitches at one point and they broke them off...but there's no sign of any tow wiring or anything else to indicate previous tow activity.
