No offense taken. What other kind of Owner's Manual is there, other than an original or a copy of an original one for the year of the van ? I checked..sure enough ....says the brake light will come on too, with OP light. I'll have to watch for that. Never have noticed that. And it says 'occaisonal flickering of the oil light at idle is OK as long as it goes out upon acceleration.' it also says 'if oil light comes on while driving, stop immediately.' soif the oil light comes on( on solid, not flickering ) at a hot idle , is that 'coming on while driving' ..? They don't actually address oil light on solidly at idle. which is what was reported by the poster. Maybe 'flickering' was meant.
