Hi, I have a 1986 Westy Weekender that I am putting a Bostig conversion into - still waiting on some of the parts... While I have everything out, I pulled the plastic cooling pipes and replaced them (and the heater lines, and the radiator). I bought a set of the stainless steel pipes from the Bus Depot. I haven't hooked them up at the engine compartment end yet, but they appear to fit OK over the fuel tank and at the radiator. The break in the lines is aft of the fuel tank so you don't have to drop it to install the pipes. Cutting the plastic pipes in the middle makes them easy to remove. Just be careful to label which pipe is which and match the plastic ones w/the metal ones you are replacing so the bends will line up. Cheers, Marco in Seattle |
