I haven't done it, but I was thinking of taking this adapter <http://www.harborfreight.com/atv-hitch-adapter-65961.html> from HF and making a plate with a hole for the stud of the ball and a hole for this adapter. Bolt it all together and have a receiver on the side of the ball hitch.

I bought a Vanagon hitch on Ebay and it is great, however it is not a receive type hitch and I am looking for some kind of adapter that would allow using a receiver bike rack. I've googled and cant seem to find anything that will work. Any solutions?
