So just as you should listen to your whole vehicle--so you know when
something "changes" or "doesn't sound right"--you should listen to
your Dometic when it is running.  I would check at the exhaust vent--
warm/hot to the touch--and the sound!  Like a little blast furnace
down in there.  If it didn't sound like that, something was wrong.

FWIW--the only thing that really blew out my flame was (1) a strong
cross wind on the highway and then (2) having a semi pass on the up-
wind side.  It would pop my ears--and I knew the Dometic was out, too.
