Subject: Issue w/ 90 Euro spec doka heating levers
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Dang if I can figure out the heater controls on my syncro doka! Yes, I have the print out of how the controls work & have the heating cooling wired in my 84 westy, but they don't seem to work for fresh air only in the doka as far as I can tell.

My 84 which has the earlier fresh outside air works fine & I know that the later models eliminated the fresh air intakes(?) but what the heck do you do to get outside air into the cab on the 90? The doka has only 3 levers on the control panel, obviously deleting the rear area lever like on full body models. It does have fans/heaters for both front & rear like regular Vanagons. I can block 90% of the heat w/ the top 2 levers to the left the 3rd (bottom) lever to the right, & the side vents closed. Might there be a disconnected lever issue in the dash keeping outside air from entering?

TIA,

Mr. BZ-hot on the freeway in Maine
