If its a hitch that attaches to the tow loops a bike rack is not a good idea. The twisting/overhanging load will crack and break the tow loops. BTDT! That is why I designed the hitch I sell.

I bought a Vanagon hitch on Ebay and it is great, however it is not a receive type hitch and I am looking for some kind of adapter that would allow using a receiver bike rack. I've googled and cant seem to find anything that will work. Any solutions?
