Larry, can't address the bit sharpener - but I have done a huge amount
of drilling in my day - and the absolute best drill bits I have ever
used were the "Silver & Deming" brand name bits. Stayed sharp the
longest. Pricey however.

Sometimes, however, it best to just use cheaper bits and toss when they
lose their cutting edge on the tip. Not cost/time effective trying to
keep the things sharpened.
