So my AC has now been converted over to r134 and it is working but in
limited fashion.  I have a few questions:

1.  It works in maximum cool only.  No AC with the switch in low or high
postion -- only in maximum cool postion.  Any idea whats happening here?

2.  In maximum cool an electric fan kicks in up front.  I am guessing its a
radiator fan.  Is this normal?


(the controls for my ac are a switch within a switch.  The back knob is a
rotary temperature control and concentric to it the front rotary knob has
four postions which are in order - maximum cool, off, low and high.
 Maximum cool works, off works, low and high do not work.  Cant tell if the
temperature knob is doing anything)
