You could not go wrong at that price. Even if it wasn't worth fixing, it could provide the rare parts to keep other Vanagons on the road. The oil pan, flywheel, input shaft, engine cradle, transmission and hanger bars are worth twice what he is asking. Plus, the interior looks pretty good. Jim
