I have one in my 1991 VW Vanagon GL Campmobile as the starter battery, got it from Pep Boys. It has the vent tubes specified on the OE battery. Also, what about Interstate Batteries? Who makes them? They seem to be the battery of choice by most independent and some chain affiliated shops. Of course, "made by" does not mean to the same standards for all. Large chains like Sears and WalMart specify what they want and the manufacturer produces it. mcneely > > > -- David McNeely |
