In addition to the low grade bolts at some places other hardware stores do sell better grades including the Grade 10.9 metric bolts. The TrueValue near me has a vast selection of 8.8 and 10.9 as well as some 12.9 hardware. They have recently expanded their selection to include some JIS metric too. My local HomeDepot has some 10.9 bolts as well, but a small section at high prices compared to elsewhere. For the engine hanger bolts I like to use ones longer than the 30mm M8x1.25 stock size, with spacers on top under the nuts, for the rearmost bolt of the two on each side. This lets me remove the spacer and hang the engine down loosely from the 1 longer bolt on each side for certain jobs, like tranny removal. Mark
