My first car was a '59 bus, my second was a '59 with a better body to put the mighty 36 horse power house into. John Muir's book showed me how, turned out I liked turning wrenches.

I'm a van person, it's usually a VW van but not always..... and a VW person and not always a van... 3 generations of vans (59,59,63,71,79,86 syncro,87,79&84 westy) several bugs, a sq back, 2 rabbits (1 gas & 1 diesel), a Jetta. An early 60's chevy van, an 83 dodge van, several Caravans, a 4wd Toyota van & a 90 Chevy van.

I'm not under 60 either....

Why the VW? Not sure.....
