Assumed it was an electrical issue.

That injector looks very similar to a pair I recently purchased here
in Vancouver BC Canada.

I had considered replacing the hose as a matter of course given that
the price seemed low. I don't know for sure if the above FI is new or
rebuilt. IIRC, vendor said it was new.
