I put some CV joint boots on a vanagon .. that I bought from a big parts store in Portland OR. My cost about 8 bucks each. One failed in about 10 months.

I checked with my VW dealer ...they have a boot kit ..screws included, for about $ 35. I suspect those are the ones to use.

As far as I know ..Van Cafe specifically tries to get the better parts. That's who I recommend.

for sure ...Meyle parts are always on the iffy side, and it's been that way in foreign car repair for a couple of decades even. that's always the first question now .. where is it made .. what company is it, etc.

anyone want to buy a new-in-the box 1.9 diesel head ? fully checked out ...like I fitted a cam and lifters to make sure ...today's special price $ 350 plus shipping. I have a set of 7mm stem diameter valves and springs for it too. If those look right .. $ 395 for everything. I got it from Quality German in So Cal .. Thomas said 'I don't know where they are made. I get them in Germany. I haven't had any complaints about them.'

it came in a bare plan box with no markings at all. But it's new !
