The first thing I thought about when I saw this topic was cost and young peoples' pockets maybe not being as deep as some of the older set.

As I'm now 35 and have no kids or heavy debt, my '87 GL is one of my only luxuries aside from my surfboard buying problem.

With Westfalia selling prices as they are, any kid with less than 10k in their pocket can count themselves out of the camper game it seems. Unless you want to go air cooled.

With the on-demand world we seem to live in now, I'm sure patience (or lack there of) could be factored into this too.
