Get yourself a pan gasket and filter kit and 3 quarts of your choice of fluid. Drain the fluid by disconnecting the dip stick-fill tube. A 24mm wrench should do the trick but it may be really stubborn. Don't bent and distort the nut if it doesn't go. A real heat wrench, (torch, oxy acetylene) will loosen it. Other wise use a good pipe wrench to get it loose. Yes the pipe wrench will leave marks but you don't want to make the round nut an oval which will happen with a regular wrench. After draining it is just 4 bolts to drop the pan, 2 philps screws to get to the filter. Be real carefull getting the pan back up with that gasket. I sue some type of sealer, (not silicone or anything bulky or stringy) to hold the gasket to the pan. It will only 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 quarts to fill. There is still about 4 quarts inside the torque converter and other areas. Check level with engine running in par or neutral and do not overfill. Dennis
