BTW, has anyone used the mitivac 7201 for ATF removal?

May be a nice idea for a quick ATF change without futzing with gaskets and fill pipe threads. I know you can't change the filter without pan removal, just not sure it's always necessary (filter change).

Another newbie question, but what advice can you all provide on changing the automatic transmission fluid myself? For starters, where do I drain the old fluid?

Thanks jim 85 Westy
