No reason at all not to do this.  And, if you do it three times running the
engine for a few minutes between you can replace 78% of the fluid instead of
40%.  Figure you replace about 40% the first time leaving a 60/40 mix, the
second time you reduce the 60% to 36%, and the third time to about 22%, etc.
Four times and you've got around 90% new fluid in the system.

Second this question on using the minivac to siphon out the AT fluid.  Has
anyone tried this?  is there any reason this wouldnt work?
