Caveat: I don't know how the AC (if you have) figures into all this but......

The warm air motor is a DC motor so in theory, swapping the positive and negative leads should make the motor turn the other way.

When the fan is running, is there air coming out of the fresh air dam up front ?

A resistor is not polarity sensitive so swapping the wires should have no adverse affect on it. That said.....

If it were me, I'd try running wires straight from B+ to the fan and try different polarities to see what happens. Once that was sorted out, I'd make sure I had the + wires from the fan switch correctly connected to the resistor (so switch position "1" doesn't become "3" etc.)

Don't think there is any way to install fan upside down but very possible that I wired the fan backwards. Lots of spinning when I switch it on but little to no air flowing. Vents all manipulated and seem to work. If I mis-wired that fan would it turn backwards? …And bigger question, if I exchange the hot with the ground can I make the thing work properly? Is that resistor capable of working if I switch the wires. I feel horrible and dread tearing it all apart to rewire a single connector.
