lol..I can see that. ( beer ) ( still Fridae where I am ) I like that ...avoid 'rush' and 'work'.

I consider it art .. as in creative play. Like don't do it if it's not fun. If it's a pain..don't do it.

Liking a challenge is a good thing ...........IMO.

just apply brainpower .. figure out ways to test stuff.. look for what might be loose, corroded, binding, leaking ...etc. etc. just 'look' . as with seeing eyes.

When I'm checkin'out a car for someone to maybe buy .. I just look and look and lookand loo some more for a first step. 'Brakefluid can in the trunk' ...that means someting. then look at the brake parts that are visible ..etc.

you got it ..LOOK ! I think DYL should be a standard thing..as in 'did you look? '.

so basic. the simpliest words are 2 letter ..me, be, etc. next are 3 letter...you,mom, him, see, row, fix, boy etc. next are 4 letter words ..lots and lots of those ..still basic though. boat , wife, sail, .. 'look' is way way up there in basic actions. .. very effective too .. heck.. people think , perhaps, that "I don't know much about cars' means .. means............ they they can't see an electrical connection covered in green corrosion.

'LOOK" .... and apply brain power. it's fun and easy. just wanting people to do better with their vanagon experience. S.

If something electrical doesn't work - don't try to fix it. See if there are now other electrical things that don't work also. Or other symptoms of the problem. The two words to avoid at all possible "rush" and "work." Don't just start working . . . think first! > > Tom > > '79 Mercedes 300SD "Green Hornet" > '84 Westy Vanagon "Spiny Norman" > '86 Alfa Romeo Spider "Dinsdale" > '98 Mercedes E320 wagon "Silver Hornet" > >
