I'm a lifetime racing guy though a Newbie bus guy. I could be wrong, but to me a quiet pipe increases back pressure and reduces mileage. Again, Newbie-to-bus comment but I'm all ears if wrong on a Vanagon.

There is quite a bit of noise from the muffler and coupled with the noise from the tires it tends to drive me nuts. Any ideas on a quiet muffler? I checked the usual parts houses on line and there seems to be only 2 different types of mufflers and I have one of them. Cheers Jaime |
