How relevant is this to the discussion? Being the person that I am, I waded off into a creek to fish, electronic ignition key in my pocket, unprotected. I usually put it in a gasketed plastic immersion bag, and suspend that from my shoulder, when in the creek. This time it was in my pants' pocket. I didn't realize what I had done until five hours later when I walked up to the car to unlock the doors. I said to my friend, "Well, I royally <messed> up. He demurred, suggesting that Toyota builds good stuff. Well, I walked up to the car, reached for the door, and the clunk and the chime indicating that it unlocked sounded. When I attempted to start the car, it started right up, no problem. When I got home, I opened the fob, to find not a drop of water inside. ---- Rocket J Squirrel <camping.elliott@GMAIL.COM> wrote: > "Getting power off instantly is key, though.
