Mine are 62 but they've always been very sensitive to things not being just right, especially at night.

What color are your lights and how well does the dimming work? Did you modify anything? Did Van Cafe add extra resistors to the LEDs to make them act somewhat more like incandescent lamps (I don't mean the series resistor that they pretty much all have to have)?

How does the dimming curve compare to incandescent? I'd expect it to be not very effective.

Tell me about "more visible"? The gauges all seem as visible as I would want them to be, except possibly the odometer. Usually on a dark highway I have the panel turned down quite a bit, and the rest of the time I usually have it a bit below full. On a seriously dark road on a dark night I might have it turned down very low.

My Garmin 750 GPS at 20% nighttime brightness is too bright except for twilight and city streets. 10% is reasonable for other conditions involving headlights. If I were in actual dark conditions it would drive me nuts.

Yrs, d
