Gets hot, gets wet, gets dirty, gets heavy, etc. Mine sagged and eventually broke away.

I think you need to get a pressure washer wand in there to thoroughly clean the metal, then replace the insulation, though I do not know with what. A spray-on product would be my first thought, or you could screw on bails to hold the insulation padding in place, though I don't like the idea of using sheet metal screws in the body.
