Well, I agree that our campers sell for more than the price listed in the dealer's guides. But, using asking price to convince insurance adjusters would be a stretch, so far as the adjuster is concerned. The adjuster would want proof that those prices are realized, not just asked. GoWesty has a program where they will work with you and the adjuster to get a proper adjustment in case of a total. Of course, GoWesty wants salvage rights.

Does anyone have actual experience with getting a proper adjustment from an insurance company? I continue to carry full coverage on my camper, since the cost is pretty low, but have doubts that I will, if needed, realize a reasonable settlement. And of course, given my absolutely perfect driving skills ( ;-0 ) have a lot more likelihood of having to deal with someone else's insurance adjuster than mine.
