Not surprising. Ft. Yukon is on the Yukon River just north of Fairbanks where I experienced my 95F. The interior of Alaska is the hottest part of the state. There are no coastal breezes or cooling effect of large bodies of water near by. And for the same reason - it' also the coldest part of the state. You truly live in a freezer chest there in winter. The energy requirements are horrific. And operating a A Vanagon is a challenge!
