Upon examination, I see the remains of a foam filter on the inside of the vent. Does the vent come apart to replace said foam and if so, how? Neither Bentley nor vagcat is much help. AND, any ideas on where to acquire said foam? ----------- Jim, Check the Samba Vanagon/Eurovan list. There is a long thread with options, others have tried. Link: <http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=475572> My rough recollection says the vents to not come apart (at least easily). A few folks, slid-in new open-cell foam into the Vents... Good hunting. Phil z. |
