No experience with the Go Westy exhaust, but SS exhausts are prone to
cracking. I had the Stebro unit on my 1.9 10 years ago that is NLA, and it
was very well made but cracked at the muffler connection fairly soon after
installation. There is a lot of stress on these small systems that are hung
directly on the engine with no cast iron manifold to absorb some of the
vibration like an in-line 4 has. I'm not convinced the SS systems are
worth the price, but others may differ. On the other hand, the currently
available mild steel systems don't line up well, and are prone to leaks at
the flanges. There is no perfect exhaust system, you "pays your money and
takes your chances."

Any body have experience with the stainless steel muffler and/or pipes sold
by GoWesty? My muffler is shot, and the collector and header pipes aren't
looking too healthy either.
