The dealer list for this is now $103 so I tried to order from a number of list vendors with no luck. So reluctantly I ordered one form the dealer. I picked it up today and guess what! It has been redesigned. I've gone throuigh my original one, plus 2 more in the last 3 years. I have the 3rd on now, put on 2 weeks ago while at Syncro Safari in Idaho. I also have another in my take-along parts supply. These last 2 are the same resistor, but with the newer plug, so it had to be cut off, the old one spliced (used butt connectors) on and so far so good. I have presumed that I've got a high resistance problem in that system somewhere, but when this occurs (this last one was kinda specfacular looking) nothing but the resistor is hot or even warm, so hard to trace where that resistance may be? Got mine from Van-Cafe. http://www.van-cafe.com/home/van/search?keywords=resistor&x=37&y=20 Bob |
