Thanks much Richard.

I bought a ~ $100 group 27 deep cycle partly because as a newb, I knew I might be hard on it or at least make a few "mistakes". That said, I also assumed that it wouldn't fare as well over long term use when compared to something like a Trojan.

At this point though, I'm seeing that the money saved will go into a solar panel/controller etc. sooner than later. ;)
