I figure it as a tool is a tool until a user of said tool/tools many not even firearm related decides to use them for purposes they were not made for and harming others which turns the tool from a tool to a weapon. Seems to me taking the tools away only treats the symptom not the real issue? Thats just my crazy thinking!
