Speaking of declining product quality... I did some amazing (but not like yours!) repairs with rescue tape and I finally ran out of the two rolls I bought at Harbor Freight. I went back to Harbor Freight for some more, and this time they had replaced the original product with their own brand. That stuff would not fix anything. It was no better than electrical tape with no adhesive.
