Subject:      adding a new dash A/C unit?

I am wanting to add a NEW dash A/C to some Vanagons in the near future.
I know all about the big project that did it by removing the stock
heater box and eliminating all fresh/outside air flow capability but
that does not interest me in the least. I just want to ADD the A/C
without subtracting anything. I like fresh air most of the time and
rarely want to run the A/C. I have located a small unit that can be fit
above the glovebox but I was wondering if anyone has done something I
can copy? I already dumped all my old Behr systems.

I mean a NEW unit.
