Ya I shoulda done the charger back draw math beforehand. ;)

I will say that I was so used to my old higher Amp charger, that charging my group 27 with my onboard 7.2 Amp charger, seemed quite slow. Granted this is a 100 AH battery discharged to 11.15 Volts. Thankfully the battery charged up to 13.2 Volts overnight and charger shows it as "100%" charged. (then again, I'm sure I shortened the life of this battery!)

The Genius charger I bought was relatively pricey. That said, I should have paid more for a 10 Amp or higher charger. I can see times where one might be off grid for a few days and need to charge a battery(s) in a relatively short period of time.

My point: consider "worst case scenario" charge time required when sizing up your aux. battery etc. design.
