You did, but not the point. It's UK usage, um, one who curries favo(u)r. Alistair would have known it I think and I judge all Canadians against Alistair. Don't you judge all Americans against Ben Huot?

Over-rich mixture so no bang. Under the circumstances much easier than trying to keep them segregated.

Nono, I meant it's a ferromagnetic material, not titanium or such. My recollection was that it felt very light in the hand, and my hand is *usually* pretty good at judging density. And that interesting finish/coating as you can see in the samba photos. The rollers are just bright steely-looking stuff, hardened I think. The plate has that pristine appearance of hardened material, no little surface dings and scratches, just a little burnishing where the rollers rub past. I'm still not satisfied about just what the stuff is. I don't think it's sintered. But it's been many years not since I've really looked at it. I see one of the bits float by occasionally and I've got the rollers in a little box somewhere.
