Jeff,

You might want to be careful on a Vanagon used car lot rebuild............ I mean Bubba in the back shed with a Crescent wrench and a three pound hammer, does not a rebuild make! Now I'm not wanting a war with used car lot owners. Just think about this.........why did it need a rebuild? Did it run HOT, OUT OF OIL? What kind of parts were used? Who did it? How did it turn out? warranty?

Look at what they show, the wide five wheels = wheel adapters engine rebuild, warranty???????? loose/missing small parts. I would just look it over very good, ask lots of questions...........'Caveat Emptor'! and If you buy, keep us posted. Don't get me wrong, I hope its a total winner, just be careful. Sometimes you are better off in the long run with that box of parts you talk about.

Howard
