Subject: Solar Panel: Battery Switching Diagram Check?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Hi all.

Am finally getting around to designing a solar panel system. I'll likely go with a 150 Watt panel and simple single battery PWM controller.

My #1 aux. battery sees low use. But. In the event it gets too low.....

Can anyone see anything wrong with this switching arrangement? Here's a flow diagram:

I'd use this type of switch: http://www.rpelectronics.com/ss206-15-bg-spdt-20a-on-off-on-screw-terminals.html

Or maybe I'd be better of installing a dual battery controller?

Thanks,

Neil. -- Neil n
